Indiana Superintendent Offered Travel Option to Dominican Republic for Next Lifetouch Memory Mission

The next Lifetouch Memory Mission, a week-long community-building project, will take place next January in the Dominican Republic, and one AASA conference attendee now has an expense-paid option of participating.

Drawn randomly from entries submitted was Jeff Butts, superintendent of the Wayne Township School District in Indianapolis, Ind. His name was announced from the stage of the 3rd General Session on Saturday morning.

If Butts is unable to participate in the Memory Mission, names of two runners-up were drawn. They are 1st runner-up, Tom Muzzey, Orchard Farm R-V School District in St. Charles, Mo., and 2nd runner-up, John Bittman, Independent School District 728, in Elk River, Minn.

Lifetouch is AASA’s official association photographer. Details about the next trip are available at lifetouchmemorymission.com. Additional volunteers from the AASA ranks always are welcome to participate.
