George Couros touched our hearts this morning in his keynote presentation, and reminded us of the importance of touching the hearts of our students. It was refreshing to have a conversation about innovation that focused on the fundamental need for relationships first!

I also appreciated the suggestion to shift from “data driven” to “learner driven and evidence informed.” This simple concept can broaden conversations and open options for delivering instruction. And innovation needs to start in the classroom!
