Superintendents across America have been operating in a pressure-cooker environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. At AASA’s national conference in Nashville, they will get to blow off some of that steam.
Conference-goers can recharge and relax in the Health & Wellness Center inside the conference’s exhibit hall. It’s a special area set aside to address the mental, physical and emotional well-being of school leaders. There will be opportunities to pet therapy dogs, take a brain break in a quiet pod, relax during a massage, burn off some energy on the electric bike smoothie maker, create a nourishing snack at the build-your-own granola station and more.
The center will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, and from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18.
The Health & Wellness Center is part of the association’s recently launched Live Well, Lead Well initiative.
