What a great start to day 2 of the conference!
I was able to attend the Missouri Association of School Administrators breakfast where we learned from AASA advocacy director Sasha Pudelski (@SPudelski). Part of our jobs as leaders in public education is to pay attention to what is happening at the federal level and be involved in advocating for education. If you are not following her or the AASA advocacy team on social media (@AASAdvocacy), then you are missing out. Stay connected and stay informed.
We also were able to celebrate our state Superintendent of the Year, Dr. Jason Snodgrass, from Ft. Osage school district. He is a colleague and a friend so it was a pleasure to start day 2 by honoring him and his leadership again.
