AASA conference participants are invited to participate in the inaugural National Conference on Education Fun Run/Walk beginning at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.

The starting point of the five-kilometer course is just outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk in San Antonio at 600 East Market St. There is no charge, but you must sign up in advance.

Packet pickup on race day will take place from 5:30 a.m. to 6:10 a.m. Course map: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2130090. Organizer Noelle Ellerson Ng promises the walk/run will be “a great way to see the city and kick off the day. Log some miles running or walking—on the Riverwalk and around San Antonio.” She said the activity is intended for “everyone — all shapes, sizes and speeds.”
