The Live Well. Lead Well. Health & Wellness Center, now in its fourth iteration, has become a staple at AASA’s National Conference on Education.

Located in the midst of the cavernous exhibit hall with its 333 commercial exhibitors, the Health & Wellness Center offers a space to relax and recharge between topical sessions and keynote presentations.

Located at Booth 461 in Exhibit Hall E, the Health & Wellness Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, and from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7.

This year’s offerings in New Orleans will include several recurrent features: a dog petting area, electric bike smoothies and fruit-infused water. New aspects include chair yoga, guided meditations and educational wellbeing sessions led by Office Meet Yoga, a firm that works with organizations on wellness programs.

AASA’s goal in including these new programs is to give educators tools they can use long after the conference to improve their personal wellness. The full schedule for these sessions on Thursday and Friday at the conference can be found online.

The center’s gold sponsor is STOPit Solutions. The several silver sponsors are American Psychiatric Association Foundation, Cigna Healthcare, DATIA K12, Finalsite, Peterson’s Test Prep, the Rest from Stress App and SDI Innovations.
