[Podcast] Innovative Early Education Design feat. Martha Salazar-Zamora

Martha Salazar-Zamora, superintendent in Tomball, Texas, is a leader innovating new education programs for her school district.

She explains that a great deal of her district’s success is due to how early they start with learning. Salazar-Zamora describes Tomball's Early Excellence Academy and her motivation to build the best possible teaching and learning environment.

Listen for her personal experience growing up deaf and learning through a tactile approach. She explains how this inspires her leadership and approach to student engagement.

Salazar-Zamora spoke at a Thursday afternoon session in the AASA Social Media Lounge about harnessing AI for district success, a Friday morning roundtable titled “Solving the Early Education Equation” and a Friday afternoon session titled “Leadership Brilliance: Superintendence of Color Revolutionizing & Empowering Excellence.”
