Two Top-Flight District Administrators Named 2022 Women in School Leadership Award Winners at 2nd General Session

The superintendent in Guilford County, N.C., and an assistant superintendent in Colorado Springs, Colo., were recognized Friday morning as the recipients of the 2022 Women in School Leadership Awards.

The honors were presented during the 2nd General Session of the AASA National Conference on Education in Nashville, Tenn.

The winner in the superintendent category was Sharon Contreras, superintendent, Guilford County Schools, Greensboro, N.C.

Recipient in the central office/principal award for the 2022 Women in School Leadership Award is Susan Field, center, assistant superintendent for learning services, Academy District 20, Colorado Springs, Colo.
