AASA’s National Conference on Education will house a sold-out exhibit hall in San Diego this month, with 327 vendors showcasing their products and services and 485 total booths in the 48,000-square foot hall.

The exhibit hall will be located on the first floor in Halls A and B, behind the registration area, and will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 16.

Conference attendees will be able to meet with representatives of the businesses and other organizations, visit concession stands and participate in roundtable sessions on relevant topics in the exhibit hall. A showcase known as School of the Future will allow exhibitors to present details about their products and services.

The Live Well. Lead Well. Heath & Wellness Center, where attendees can relax, will run for the third year. The Social Media Lounge, celebrating its 10th anniversary, will host two sessions related to technology use for school districts and a happy hour-style reception. Also in the exhibit hall will be the annual Blessings in a Backpack stuffing and the Knowledge Exchange Theater for Thought Leader talks.

The exhibit hall will also be home to a new area — the School Safety and Security Learning Lab, a gallery walk of information and resources dedicated to school safety. This year, the AASA bookstore also will be located in the exhibit hall at Booth 1428. It will have a satellite location on Wednesday and Saturday in the foyer area.

The 327 exhibitors fall into a wide array of categories. The largest number address the following:

  • curriculum resources, software, business supplies (41 exhibitors)
  • technology, telecommunications (39)
  • career, professional development (31)
  • management/consulting services (22)

While there will not be WiFi in the exhibit hall, cellphone data will work. WiFi will be available in all public areas and meeting rooms at the AASA conference.
